Running a fully booked leadership practice means I need to be really deliberate about prioritising my energy and attention on the days I don’t deliver programmes of learning. The most valuable use of that time is spent researching, designing new initiatives and connecting with my awesome clients. Working with Jaymie and Omnitude means they take care of the gritty stuff that can get in the way of what’s most important. Gabby is my EA, and I rely on her to take care of the background admin that would otherwise slow me down, keep me on track with client relationships and share some of the load on projects that develop the practice. "We approached Omnitude as we had issues around having only one staff member with all the knowledge and experience of our accounting and payment systems."
This left us vulnerable over holidays and sick days and reliant on the staff member staying with us, we were aware of the staff member wanting to move on so we decided our business would be better served with a virtual assistant.
The thing that has impressed me is their own billing. At the beginning of the contract, we agreed on the number of hours per week. Naturally, as we started, there was a lot more work to do as they were new to our business and needed to get to know everything. But they are so efficient that now we have 4 offices throughout the Bay of Plenty rather than the one we started with, and they are still getting all the work done in the same number of hours and I thoroughly believe they have saved us a whole staff member.
